A resident of Usodar Town, he is the new landlord of MC and operates a charming pet café located downstairs from her office. A spy investigator who arrived from out of town a few months ago.He exudes an air of idleness and nonchalance. With his charming demeanor and warm personality, he quickly won the hearts of the locals. However, beneath this pleasant exterior lies a hidden agenda. A particular trait of MC has captured his attention, and he watches her closely, like a hawk. No prey can ever escape his keen observation.

Though he often seems indifferent to MC, he truly cares for her deeply.

✦ AI summary

Players praise this dark otome visual novel for its compelling characters, excellent voice acting, and engaging story routes that reward multiple playthroughs with different endings. However, some criticize the inconsistent character art proportions, occasional translation errors, and occasionally shallow dialogue, though the unfiltered mature content and yandere themes resonate strongly with fans of the genre. Despite these flaws, most players find it difficult to put down and highly recommend it to those seeking intense, character-driven visual novel experiences.

I’m making a review in hopes that Rice can read this and learn from these mistakes for future projects. I cannot recommend this game unless you are prepared for bad translation moments, misspellings, odd autonomy art moments, and inconsistent writing vs the visual kind of moments. Though, this is the perfect game to play with company, 10/10 I would traumatize my friends with sticky macaroni sounds again.
General thoughts:
The world the game had built was pretty interesting, but execution of sometimes how it would be shown to us was poorly done. Writing concerns, for a game that got backed like it did, the translation, proof-reading, and writing was off atleast for English translation not sure about the original, I know there were only two translators and one proof-reader which is surprising as how much was backed on Kickstarter. Throughout the routes it shows, they would say flesh instead of skin. Odd censorship to the word ♥♥♥♥ despite it being an adult game. Them referring to her heat" as her having seizure and don’t get me started on love juices.💀 Certain parts would basically say the same thing three times in different wording. These issues showed up in…
Woof

I give it a solid 9.5/10 Awoo's
Hands down the spiciest visual novel I've had the pleasure of reading in a hot minute. That being said, it also has a really interesting literal plot, that I got hooked on uncovering throughout the LI routes. I've been obsessed with losing myself in this world after I picked it up. The voice acting in this game is absolutely [i[phenomenal, I was not expecting that level of quality going into this. These men are not for the faint of heart, especially the Cage endings, but I love all of them. For the best experience the route order is as follows: Enox -> Luke -> Dane -> G# -> Sid I highly recommend following the dev order because the plot build-up makes the most sense that way. Overall a really solid spicy otome VN, the only reasons I wouldn't say it's 10/10 is because a few slightly jarring text bugs broke the immersion in a few places and a few of the CG proportions were really uncanny- but I'm pretty sure that was because they were done by different artists, which is understandable. The quality of the rest of the game though is really impressive.
LI Thoughts:
Enox - Stubborn, hot headed, hopeles…

It's so hard to find a quality NSFW Otome VN and this checked every single box for me. I came for the porn and stayed for the plot. I expected some spicy scenes to get the blood flowing, but I wasn't expecting to get so immersed in the mystery. I laughed. I cried. I felt things. Please make more games like this. I will buy them all. Also, if the Clark path is still planned as a DLC I would like to see that too. Before you Buy: Please make sure you understand this is a Yandere game and the romance paths reflect that so it may not be everyone's cup of tea, but this is the best VN experience I've ever had for my tastes and interests! My romance order was Luke-Dane-Enox-G#-Sid

Good game overall! It wasn't quite what I was expecting going in, but I ended up really enjoying it regardless! I went into this expecting something very dark, serious, and disturbing based on the content warnings, but the game was actually quite tame for something marketed as a “yandere otome game.” Compared to the darker end of the genre, which often features intense depictions of abuse, violence, coercion, and psychological manipulation, Heart Cage felt significantly lighter to me. The characters are unhinged, obsessive, and possessive, and they do some pretty questionable things, but the game rarely reaches the same level of genuinely disturbing or psychologically intense content featured in other otome games with similarly dark or yandere-adjacent marketing. Story-wise, I thought the plot and overall narrative direction were very well-done and I enjoyed how each individual route had something unique to offer, while remaining consistent to the overarching themes and storyline. There's an abundance of delicious smut scenes in the game as well and, oh boy, do they deliver! One thing I would note, though, is that some of the NSFW CGs can be kinda whacky in terms of the proportio…

each route has a lot of content and there like 3-4 hrs long so that was a big plus and the plot was actually entertaining.

This game was absolutely amazing! Yes there were a handful of spelling errors or a maybe one or two mixed up words, but honestly the game and story are very good and I barely noticed them. There weren't so many that they took away from the gameplay itself. I would say some of the dialogue did at times feel just a little redundant, but not too much to take away either. You can 100% read as slow or as fast as you like, including if you're someone who likes to skip through certain dialogue if it is feeling redundant to you. It also has a fast forward feature that helps out for anyone looking to rewind and get certain endings/achievements without spending hours running through it again and again. Which is a really nice feature for the 100% folks like me and super satisfying. But let's talk about the good! First, I did not find a single glitch, error, crash, or issue with any saves or mechanics. Very clean experience! OMG the story was so much more in-depth than I had hoped for. I wasn't expecting a complex story across every single character. I wasn't expecting to be drawn in so much to the action and world and background that you have to piece together bit by bit through every route.…
