Fly to the center of the planet to destroy its core!HeartCore Descent is a simple yet challenging 2D Precision Platformer Indie game, where you control a rocketship through various terrains. The goal is to fly through all levels, and reach the heart core at the center of the planet.There are 5 Chapters, each with a different theme. Each chapter has 5 levels, so 25 levels total, each level progressively getting harder. When you crash, you restart at the beginning of the level. If you close the game mid-chapter, you need to play the chapter over again.This game is incredibly hardcore (heartcore), so good luck! (You'll need it.)

HeartCore Descent is a free 2D precision platformer where I control a small rocketship and try to reach the centre of a planet to destroy its core. The idea is very simple, but the game is built around making that simple movement increasingly difficult. There are five chapters with five levels each, giving me 25 levels to work through. The controls are probably the strongest part for me. Flying the rocket through narrow areas takes some patience because I have to control my movement carefully rather than just holding a direction and hoping for the best. It has that old school precision platformer feeling where even a small mistake can send me crashing into something. I also like how the difficulty gradually increases. The early levels give me time to get comfortable with the rocket, while later areas introduce tighter spaces and more demanding sections. When I finally get through a part that has been giving me trouble, it feels rewarding because the game makes it clear that the improvement came from me getting better at controlling the ship.
