Getting Home

[b] Getting Home [/b] is a casual arcade game about landing your space craft in precarious positions whilst avoiding a number of different obstacles. It's quite challenging and precision flying is needed at times. The story is very basic and not really worth consideration but it just adds a little reward for completing levels. The game does give you that one more go feeling and has the right balance of difficulty that urges you onwards. There's a few things that need tweaks but in the main it's a fun and rewarding casual game that should take around four hours to complete. I must admit, I found this game too difficult to start off with and it became frustrating. The ship is quite large and you are asked to fly with precision in very tight areas. Often, you have to accelerate at pace to get through an obstacle like a closing aperture only to find that you need to break suddenly so not to crash into something. There is no reverse thruster so the only way to slow down is to point the ship in the other direction and thrust. In tight areas this proved to be very difficult because of the size of the ship and the amount of time it takes to spin and thrust. The ship can use momentum and …
