HELLBREAK

TL;DR: Enjoyable and simple, but RNG can really screw over your runs and it's very grindy. [h1] Positives [/h1] [list] [*] [b]Game Loop[/b]: Runs outside of the endless mode difficulty (Eternal) cap at 20 minutes and for the most part it's constant enemy spawns that'll keep your full attention. When a run starts to kick off at the 7 minute mark, things becoming more engaging and time will fly by as more of the arena is unlocked and bosses start spawning in. [*] [b]Weapon Variety[/b]: There's some really fun weapons that you can unlock and use that handle some enemy types better than others like the staff to leech health and excellent at crowd control, knife to clear ground-based swarms in higher difficulties, and the laser which melts bosses with ease when in range. [*] [b]Upgrades[/b]: Both weapon upgrades and run-only perks can turn more weaker weapons into something actually usable, like the knife to becoming a multi-shot horde clearer or improve some of the more busted weapons like the laser into an instant death ray gun. Pair this up with random quirks like 'Dashing with automatically reload your weapons' and it becomes fun to play with more aggressive maneuvers and abilities…

Out of all the current FPS roguelike shooters I've played in the last 2 years, this is my favorite so far. The game is super addictive with its progression system and perks. Performance is beyond excellent as well. 270 FPS on the highest settings at 3440x1440 without DLSS feels like a dream to play. No huge frame drops, No traversal stutter. No shader cache issues. It simply runs perfect and looks great.

A solid single player arena FPS. Pros: + Lots of weapons + Good gunplay + Weapon and character upgrades + Some decent maps + Okay graphics for indie + Good performance Cons: - Only 4 maps - Some annoying achievements - A bit too easy on highest difficulty

Is a super casual game, nothing to go crazy about, good for a short run.

Idk I like playing this game high. But I do agree there is a lack of maps.

Game crashed. Cheap game. It's kinda meh. Also, I have a high FPS count, but the starters are just unbearable.
