Game Length: 8-24 Hours 5/5 Story: Simple Visual Novel Adventure. The basic storyline is about Humans Vs Demon Lord which resulted in a tie and many centuries later Demon Lord invites the Kingdom to a party. From here on it is about recruiting a band of outstanding heroes to attend to this party. 3.5/5 Gameplay: Turn-Based Grid-Pxiel Tactical/Strategy RPG (Fire Emblem) 4/5 CG: Patch Required. Pretty good. 4/5 Grand Total: A fine game and all but just a simple yet fun storyline as well as just fire emblem gameplay. Addicting, good but not amazing. 8.25/10 Definitely Recommend if you enjoy FE series. Game has a few secrets and things to experiment learn and understand. Most of the Roster have a certain requirement to trigger and recruit. The strategy for the game itself is still pretty decent and the first 1/3 of the Battles come with a difficulty that, usually, at that point you will have access to recruit units who will dramatically help impact those difficult Battles. The game can best enjoyed by performing a speed run with minimal grinding however can also be played for Perfectionist (stats + rng). The roster comes with very few Basic Class Units, for example …3 found this helpful
The game doesn't work, during Chapter 1 it crashed several times and at the completion of 5th mission or so it kept crashing for me, not allowing to proceed.2 found this helpful
Hmm I was curious about a SRPG with benefits, and the character art is amazing. Anne Boleyn's outfit is really awesome!! But at chapter 8 I have to team up with necessary NPCs that constantly kill themselves and get me game over. I don't even get to control them. It would have been funny if it was intentional and it triggered some stupid cutscene or something I guess? They have really high self confidence in the dialogue too but they're really weak. It's just unfair game overs. So, thumbs down!1 found this helpful
HERO'S PARTY R is a tactical role-playing game developed by NAGINATA SOFT and published by OTAKU Plan that combines grid-based strategy combat with character recruitment, light exploration, and anime-inspired presentation. Framed around a playful yet suspicious invitation from the Demon King to the human kingdom, the story sets up a fantasy conflict wrapped in irony. Rather than dismissing the invitation outright, the kingdom mobilizes its forces, and the player steps into the role of a young commander named Rutherford. From there, the game unfolds as a campaign to assemble a capable party, confront demonic forces, and ultimately uncover the truth behind the supposed “party” awaiting at the Demon Castle. The gameplay foundation rests firmly within the strategy RPG genre. Battles take place on grid-based maps where unit positioning, terrain advantages, movement range, and skill usage all play critical roles. Each character occupies a specific tactical niche, whether focused on melee offense, ranged attacks, support magic, or defensive utility. Success depends not only on raw stats but on how effectively players coordinate their units to control space and respond to enemy formations…
