However, this all changes when an order is made for all Dracovalis, including Lotia, to hunt down the Demon Lord.

**MAJOR SPOILERS** *Dark Hero Party* is one of the most self-indulgent wastes of time I have ever finished out of morbid curiosity. The author wanted to write a bleak story about weakness, hierarchy, resentment, revenge and human desire. Instead, he built an exhausting misery machine, repeated the same emotional point until it became numbingly routine, and then treated the emptiness caused by that repetition as philosophical depth. Having ideas is not the same thing as knowing how to write them. The premise is workable: Imos is an ordinary man in a world where selected superhumans called Dracovalises receive power, status and practical immunity from consequences. He cannot protect the people around him because decency without force changes nothing. The game establishes this almost immediately, then keeps repeating it. During the Aina section alone, the player is forced through failed rescue attempts again and again even though the outcome is predetermined. One unwinnable fight can establish helplessness. Several failures can build despair. Repeating the same sequence until the player stops reacting is not escalation. It is padding. Eventually every supposed shock becomes rou…

This was hard to stomach even for an intermediate NTR enjoyer. Many people think negatively of this game because the content is quite dark and intolerable, but the despair induced is nonetheless a riveting emotional experience which is necessary to reach the game's thoughtful conclusion after much suffering. This game isn't for most people, but I encourage my fellow cursed curious souls to see how horrible NTR can be. Anyways, the game is oddly inspirational motivation hit the gym since the protagonist is pathetically weak.

10/10 - Do not miss out this game just because of the Mixed review. The story and CG is great! I'm never a fan of NTR but the NTR in this game is quite smooth.

Dark Hero Party is a narrative-driven Japanese-style RPG that deliberately contrasts familiar genre comfort with a bleak, emotionally heavy storyline that steadily dismantles traditional heroic expectations. Developed by U-ROOM and published by Kagura Games, the game presents itself at first glance as a classic fantasy adventure, but gradually reveals a much darker core centered on loss, moral ambiguity, and the fragility of personal bonds. It is a title that prioritizes story and atmosphere above all else, using conventional RPG mechanics as a vessel for a narrative that is intentionally unsettling and often uncomfortable. The game begins in a peaceful rural setting, introducing a protagonist whose life revolves around everyday routines and close relationships rather than grand destiny. This slow and grounded opening establishes a sense of normalcy that becomes essential to the emotional impact of later events. As external forces intrude upon this quiet life, the story shifts into a grim journey shaped by political decrees, religious authority, and the dehumanizing consequences of so-called righteous crusades. What initially resembles a standard quest against evil evolves into a …
