About Hero Tactics
Hero Tactics is a love letter to oldschool tactics rpgs.Assemble a motley band of heroes and fight through gauntlet of battles to save the land from evil. Level-up your party, unlocking new skills and classes!Shrunk down for your convenience~
- Small Numbers: The units have roughly 2 to 5 health points. Your attacks will do 1 to 3 damage. All of the numbers are small enough to be easy to digest.
- Micro Tactics: Each battle is held in a tiny 6x8 battlefield, letting each combat resolve quickly without a lot of turns wasted on moving into position.
- Short Story: The campaign is composed of 5 to 8 chapters - you can probably play through the story in a single sitting.
Remastered for Steam
We released this project over half a decade ago as our first debut rpg. Back then, it had a much simpler design, and was missing a lot of quality-of-life features. So it has been long overdue for a remaster! Most notably, we completely overhauled every level to support a wider screen resolution.What Steam players say

Short and sweet little tactics RPG, and sort of a chill "coffee break" game, the kind it's rare to see nowadays. Feels like playing a condensed version of the early levels of an old GBA Fire Emblem, easy recommend if you're a fan of that era!2 found this helpful
Short and sweet. Feels like old school Fire Emblem without the yapping and chapter resets. Whole game is 20 minutes start to finish. Runs well on Steam Deck with one caveat- I was unable to exit the credits screen except for closing the software.1 found this helpful
