About Hexateria
You play as the Meat Company Commander, faced with a series of missions. You have five Veterans at your disposal, each with a different set of skills. Each completed mission grants you new abilities to deploy. Turn-based combat against overwhelming numbers of Bunglings (enemies) allows for a variety of tactics. Friendly fire, magic potions, and interactive board elements add variety. The entire action is set in a unique fantasy world, with stylized stop-motion animation and a story with a sense of humor. As the Meat Company Commander, how many veterans will you sacrifice to complete the mission? Or are you good enough to ensure everyone survives?

I only played a little while. I think the game will appeal to a strategy puzzle players. I think this would be a good offering if it started about 7.99. I like the graphic style, but the voice clips need to be more varied. I would say 50-100 lines for every character. It got very grating after the first room. Also, I have no idea how long the game is and that may effect the price. Anyway, I like the idea and the graphics and gameplay are there. It's just not for me. Ps if there was a way to turn off characters dialog by individual, that would be a nice option. One of them, was the deal breaker for me continuing to play.2 found this helpful
An ultimately addictive game (as all turn-based strategy games should be). The lines of the characters are extremely funny (at least I laughed quite a few times) and the abilities of the heroes are quite well balanced. It's got a few shortcomings, but it's expected of an indie game and they don't detract from the experience. So overall, a positive vote!
