Hexateria

I only played a little while. I think the game will appeal to a strategy puzzle players. I think this would be a good offering if it started about 7.99. I like the graphic style, but the voice clips need to be more varied. I would say 50-100 lines for every character. It got very grating after the first room. Also, I have no idea how long the game is and that may effect the price. Anyway, I like the idea and the graphics and gameplay are there. It's just not for me. Ps if there was a way to turn off characters dialog by individual, that would be a nice option. One of them, was the deal breaker for me continuing to play.

Really fun little strategy game! I really like the turn-based combat and the hex-grid system. The different abilities make each battle feel interesting, and I especially enjoy figuring out the best way to position my characters. The art style and humor are also great, and the characters have a lot of personality. It’s easy to get into, but there’s still enough strategy to keep things interesting. Overall, I’m having a great time with Hexateria and would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys turn-based tactical games! 👍

An ultimately addictive game (as all turn-based strategy games should be). The lines of the characters are extremely funny (at least I laughed quite a few times) and the abilities of the heroes are quite well balanced. It's got a few shortcomings, but it's expected of an indie game and they don't detract from the experience. So overall, a positive vote!
