About HEXONEX

HEXONEX is a casual hex-based puzzle game. Slide tiles to match colors across 108 puzzles. But think carefully before you act! Tiles can only move opposite any adjacent tiles, and you lose a point for every move you make!

Beat your high scores to unlock new tile palettes, board palettes, and music, and mix and match to customize your experience!

Takes a minute to understand but once you do its a chill, meditative puzzle game. Many pleasing color options, cool music and sound effects (or you can turn either or both off and vibe to your own tunes if you want). Well worth the price!

HEXONEX is a great fun game with a ton of content for a $1.99 price tag. I haven't seen the "You can move, but only away from the tile you are touching" mechanic which adds a serious level of depth and strategy to every move you make. I found myself projecting trying to find be best move for every level. Well worth the time and money and sleek as can be!

This game just refuses to run. Left a comment to the developer. It seems that the developer just does not care to respond. So I would i'll advise anyone to stay away from this game.

I bought this a long, long time ago. At some point in time, I couldn't get the starting menu working anymore. I left it aside as the developer couldn't fix the issue. Now, having discovered it works on the Steam Deck, I gave it another go. The goal is to score points by matching pieces of the same color. Moves cost points and the more pieces you touch with the moved piece, the more points you get. Leaving a piece behind in the end costs you a little penalty too. Leveling up in score unlocks new tile sets, backgrounds and music. I only had to replay a couple of levels after my run through to get some extra points for my last two achievements. It wasn't a wow, but it was quite relaxing and nice to collect the unlockables.
