Hide and Seek with Noah

It's hard to talk about this game at all without ruining it. It's free. It's short. Play it and come back. But to state the obvious: THIS is great indy horror. [spoiler]I walked into this game knowing only that this game is supposed to be scary. The sudden yank into real footage was really unsettling. The reveal was maybe top 3 scariest moments in a game for me. ??? kind of looked like a paralysis demon I had lol Up until that point, it was looking like a child friendly game that teaches you not to talk to strangers. Something you get your kid to play. Nope. It's not. For me, this game did to playgrounds what Nightmare on Elm Street did to boiler rooms or Jason did to summer camps. Watch. Your. Kids. There's some real sickos out there.[/spoiler] Side not to the dev, there's 3 things I would improve on if you were to make a similar game: 1. Improve the voice acting. It seems like you had amateurs do it. That's totally fine. However, it's okay to demand multiple takes. The one with [spoiler]adult Noah on the swings was particularly bad.[/spoiler] Made it hard to focus on what they were saying. 2. The PSA was not realistic. I don't even mean the parts that are clearly…

What seems like a cute hide & seek game turns out to be something horrible. Short & unsettling.

Really unique game concept. I love the idea of blending a point an click adventure with real world footage. Especially when you are trying to turn it into a horror game. It's not often games scare me, but I found myself at unease every time we went into the found footage style. It reminds me of so many analog horrors and this game has a lot of potential to be so much more. Great job overall!

I wondered how on earth this was a 1.5GB game based on the store screenshots. Then I clicked on some playground equipment and a video started playing. It's an alright game.
