About Hide N Seek VR
Fall back into childhood with this addictive VR adaptation of the beloved hide and seek. Try to find the other players in surprising environments to get the best score. Lie down under beds or crouch behind crates and try to secure the best hiding spot!
Each player will in turn become the cat. The mice will have a short time to find the best hiding place in various environments. When released, the cat will gain points by finding as many players as possible. The anxious mice will tremble as they can keep track of the cat's position by listening to the changes of the spatialized music. A vocal chat adds tons of fun and a great social dimension to the game.

Hide and Seek VR is something I expected early on in VR due to the simple concept yet here we are with a proper game. I will note that I played with the developer and someone else during this and he was taking notes while we were playing and it was pretty fun. -----Gameplay----- It's a simple game of Hide and Seek with various maps, some a little more worked on than others but each still quite fun. There are a number of bugs I encountered on my first session such as being able to clip through walls (There is an measure in place to try and prevent this however sometimes it either doesn't work or can push you out of bounds). One thing I noticed was that the heads and hands were very bright and therefore very easy to notice if someone was hiding in a dark area. ---Thoughts--- It's a decent start and the price is pretty good for the game that it is, with a lot more work into maps and maybe some interactivity to the maps(Opening doors, Wardrobes etc) it can be a pretty fun game to take a break and play. I feel the Town map should have buildings you can enter and be a lot smaller and more focused on just searching the buildings. Climbing? If possible. It's pretty fun to be able to…11 found this helpful
Have just under an hour played of this game mostly consisting of playing with the developer (super chill and cool guy) and a bit with him and another guy that was playing with us for a bit, super fun game and the more people who buy it and play it will make the games mechanic way funner as well as funding him to develop the game even more, highly reccomend this game for everyone with a VR headset, if you need someone to play with definitely feel free to add me!8 found this helpful
Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
Game is dead. There's nothing to do if you don't have another person to play online with. There are two areas under construction ... apparently since December 23, 2017. There have been no updates since that time (just a little over a month after game was released on Steam). From the lobby area, I can say there's clipping and hiding in a chest or barrel feels dumb and the climbing is very bad and you can fall under the map. This game should go free to play. I regret spending $2.49 for this game during the Steam Lunar New Year 2018 sale. Wish I could get a refund. Rate 3/10. Do NOT Buy! 2 found this helpful
