Hitmen Party

Interesting stealth game for up to 6 local players. The price is good and this game adds some new mechanics to the party stealth scene. (Review now updated to reflect fixes and adjustments to 1.1 patch) Summary: + Finding a target with the help of clues is fresh and works well. + Swapping character appearance with people passing by is also something I haven’t seen before. + Spawn selection feature makes it easier to find your own character. + Interacting with the world to blend in adds some humor and adds to the atmosphere. + Interacting with world objects charges a poison blade that allows you to kill with a delay. Fun way to get another Hitman to blow their cover. + After the update killing is based on timing rather than button mashing. This is a big improvement! Thank you! - Killing everyone who gets close to you is a viable strategy in some game modes where you don't get a score penalty for killing innocent passersby. This needs to be addressed somehow. You can all agree to not have that as a strategy but I'd rather have the strategy not be encouraged by mechanics in the game. One idea is to add increasing cool-down time for every innocent kill. Only a short time played but can already tell it's worth the buy. If I could suggest one improvement it would be to make penalties harsher for killing passers-by, or at least a slider for those who want to choose.

Really fun game. Specially for local play. It has quite some modes and a lot of modifiers for replay-value. I wish it had more maps/levels, though.

This game is really the ultimate Hitmen Party! I played with a lot of different friends and it was amazing everytimes. The only problem was the bug with the controller but fixed since the last patch (thanks Newhead Studio!) It's really easy to understand and the art direction is really cool! Thanks a lot for this game and I'm waiting for the next one!

Honestly? We were all kind of disappointed after talking up the multiple game modes. They are all kind of the same. We all love games like this normally but this one just didn't prove to be all that entertaining.

Amazing experience with my friends. Very nice couch game ! Plenty of game modes and the minimalist graphics are great. Perfect for a fun night !
