About Hoco Poco
Hoco Poco is a harry potter duel style free-4-all local multiplayer. However you can also play against the AI.
In Hoco Poco you play as a mage. Your goal is to push all the other contestants off of the island, into the water, and be the last mage standing!
You can achieve this by casting spells. You can cast spells by "drawing" signs.
For example, drawing a spiral with create a tornado and drawing a star will create a meteor shower!
If you play with a keyboard you'll have to draw with the mouse and if you are using a controller you have to draw with the right analog stick.
The more 'mana' you have the stronger the spells will be.
You can gain more mana by destroying mana crystal using destructive spells, and collecting the mana shards that they drop.

this game is delightful. sokpop really knows how to work within the limits of these small games and hoco poco is a great example of that. in another game the drawing spells with the mouse mechanic would probably be really annoying, but it works because hoco poco feels so low stakes. drawing a meteor spell when you meant to draw a bomb spell isn't frustrating, its just a silly mistake in a silly game.4 found this helpful
I do not recommend this game. As far as I can tell it is unplayable; I have found no controls that work, the onscreen instructions are incorrect, and nothing I do after opening the game does anything. Even navigating the menus was frustratingly unclear and took multiple restarts and randomly hitting keys on the keyboard to deduce. Don't know how to play and it has never worked for me after dozens of attempts.1 found this helpful
I have been looking for a game like this since before time was called time. This is so fun to play and so cheap, I wish there was more to come to this game and add to the excellence that it already is, there are 10 fun spells, good bots to fight against and more wonderful qualities.

Fun little couch arena. I wouldn't call it a deep fighter, but it is fun enough to pass the time!
