Judge, jury, and executioner in purgatory :o

Introduction
Holy Shift is a visual novel developed and published by Kitten Purradise Studios. You're an unnamed male character who's greeted in purgatory by a hot succubus, and you find out that you're dead. However, your soul is in limbo, as are the souls of four other characters whom you meet shortly after. As the five of you are supposed to be siphoning poison, as instructed by the succubus who's keeping you all prisoner, one of your party sees a box that contains files of people who've passed away, but - as you may have guessed - their souls are in limbo. Despite reservations from another member to not mess with the files and let the succubus know that they have them, the rest of you decide to look through the files and judge whether the people who passed away are guilty of their crimes, leading to their deaths... With the gameplay, the choices are very simple. Either, you nod yes (ruling guilty) or shake your head (ruling innocent). However, rather than there being the usual choices, you have to move your mouse cursor or use indicated keys on the keyboard to nod yes or shake your head. Depending o…

Short narrative-based experience, where you find yourself in an afterlife purgatory being captured by a succubus. You are being thrown to a room with four other persons in a very same situation. Gameplay focuses over decisions made by your group in a form of voting to decide on a guilt of other people, whos documents with the description of their lives you are analysing. In the very end of the story you will understand, who actually were the people who afterlife destiny you have determined. Despite on being quite short (feels more like a prologue, then a full game) there are multiple endings that depend on decisions you make during the voting. Game has achievements which are not hard to get.

Strange game. 1. Graphic part - ok. 2. Audio - music is very simple and looped. Phrases of heroes - terrible, and do not hit heroes if you quickly skip text. 3. Choice guilty or not, is made disgustingly. Only a mouse is drawn, but it turns out you can use buttons, but there is no word about it. The choice is not signed - you have to scroll through the magazine to make the right choice. 4. How can you make mistakes in a 20-minute game) I chose not guilty in the third choice, but got the achievement all guilty. I think the tester's hand did not touch the game. And the creator did not play. Only 16 options and those can not be checked)

It's a very engaging story and absolutely worth the 2 bucks. the plotwist at the end was good, just wish that there was forshadowing (or maybe i just missed it lol) i like the mouse mechanic too, haven't seen it in a game before so it's nice and something new. i also wish that disobeying the succubus would actually have consequences but for the rest, loved the game.

This was fun, solid. I'd be quite delighted if they gave us more and continued with the concept and story.
