About Hot Shot Monkey
Embark into a wild west themed bullet hell, where you play as Clyde, a monkey gunslinger, on a quest to defeat steampunk mechanical monstrosities, and utilize powerful weapons, and useful gear to assure you return peace to the west.
Clyde has just signed up for a gunslinger's bootcamp, on complete accident, and now things have just gotten out of hand, Clyde is enlisted without consent to rescue a town from a mad man, who's creating evil machines for no reason beyond just destroying things and causing terror. Give it your best to defeat these monsters and bask in rewards and fame for defeating them.
View the action from top-down perspective, navigate through five boss fights each with their own arcade style arena, you'll need to dash and shoot through hordes of robots, but to help you along the way you have powerful weaponry and ability's.

(This review is mainly intended for the developer, reporting bugs and suggesting a few things [beware spoilers]) Bugs -Many of the bosses attack the player while in dialogue, especially Bauer. -walking into the white death fight, if you hold W, your character will fall into the pit behind the boss and respawn on the platform behind the arena with the cultist -the first time entering the gun shop, I had access to all of the special guns for some reason. closing the game and reopening, the issue stopped. -you can softlock the game in the item shop by interacting with items and refusing to buy them, which causes the shopkeeper to take away the "no" option. If this happens when you don't have enough money to buy the item you're looking at, you're softlocked. This is especially frustrating because you need to interact with items to see what they do. -during the second phase of the oil baron fight, some bizarre bug forced my W key, so my character walked into a pit. Rather than respawn on the main platform, I walked across the pit to a platform behind the boss, which I believe would stop someone from taking the drill and softlock the game. -After the Oil Baron fight, the rage ba…1 found this helpful
10/10 game a bit scuffed great stuff
This is very challenging game and the dialogue. very much like the mechanic too.
