Hotel Lust

I saw the reviews were mixed but not enough to sway me away from trying the game. As I played through I started to understand why. To start, I'm not a big fan of A.I. art being used in games. I find it lazy and it deprives real artists from showcasing their talents. I would have preferred the art to be done by a real person and have it's own style. Regardless, the art isn't THAT bad if you can look past some inconsistencies such as one girl having six fingers on one hand. You can see this in the previewed screenshots showing Irina. There are other times where the quality is inconsistent as well. Going from super high resolution to a pixelated mess. Especially with some animation scenes. The story isn't anything too special either. Just a normal guy working a reception job who mainly spends his time just peeping at the girls in the hotel. There is only one time where the MC is actually involved with one of the girls and it's super rushed and has no build up. I also noticed that in the dialogue when addressing one of the girls, they use "he", "him", and "his", rather than "she" and "her". I suppose certain games have spoiled me for others, this seemed to have a good well-written plot, what I found is that it has a very well written synopsis and all of the goods bits are essentially viewable in the provided thumbnails. The game's pretty linear, with no diverging paths, and the only thing you gotta work towards is that hidden final guest.
