Update: changed to "recommended" because of encouraging updates. Now you can clearly see what each stat actually does, and all locked characters have their stats fully visible, letting you spend your currency on the ones you actually want. Permanent upgrades are cheaper and provide greater benefits, and a tutorial now explains the core mechanics the first time you start a run. The price is still too high for the amount of content available, but the gameplay now delivers the experience you'd expect from a survivors-style game. It starts like many other games in the genre, with a choice of character. There are three available at the beginning, each with different values in the four main stats and a unique starting weapon. The rest of the characters are unlocked using gems earned from completing runs, but their stats are hidden. This means you never know whether you are unlocking a genuinely better character or simply wasting precious gems on someone who is barely useful. Unfortunately, the stats do not explain what they actually influence, or if they even matter. Take vitality, for example. It should presumably affect health, yet every character appears to have the same amount of h…

Really enjoyed this game, been a long time since I last played a game like this. Really like the Hardcore aspect of the game, the challenges to get the top spot, the variety on skill combo's the intensity that goes up as the stakes get higher and higher as the game progress. I like the upgrade system that helps you a little on the next run, along with drops that you can equip to give yourself a boost on the next run. Trying different combo's to try and last as long as possible and take the top spot. This game gave me a rush of fast pace combat, which Ireally enjoyed.
