The game feels really inconsistent to me, so I'm not enjoying it.1 found this helpful
haven't played a ton yet, but I absolutely love how expressive and stylish this game is and wanted to help it out with a review. Theres also a great core loop of dashing / bumping into enemies to do combos and you feel super slick pulling stuff off. One thing you should be aware of if you consider buying this; this game is hard, but I personally like that. I've not gotten past wave 8 so far and getting overwhelmed or not having control over the field gets you killed quick. Restarts are fast and fun though and this is one of the rare games where you really get that feeling of discovery with figuring out how to deal with enemies or how exactly the intricacies of the dashing mechanic work. The only minor nitpick that I have, is that waves 1 and 2 feel pretty repetetive to replay when dying after a while, since they only consist of very basic enemies. That makes sense since it needs to teach the player the basics but adding a little more variety in the very first waves would be appreciated.1 found this helpful
It's rather good, which is a relief, since I have to give money to everyone making abstract twin stick shooters. Sometimes the authors die (like with Waves 2) and sometimes they just lose interest (Arena 3D), I hope MrEliptik lives a long life and also remakes Every Extend in this engine.
Its a fun game. Not my usual type of game but it draws you in with the challenge. Definitely worth the buy and giving some hours of your day.
Beautiful visuals, exciting gameplay, intense music. It reminds me a little of those vector graphics bullet hells but with a unique spin on gameplay. Just 100% full of eye candy and dopamine hits. Doesn't look like anyone has beaten 1 million on the leaderboard yet...
High-action, challenging, run-based thrills. Gets your heart pumping. Been having fun chasing combos and climbing the leaderboards.
