I'm Tripping

an interesting little experience no save but its not very long a good first game for an indie dev

good game. i have completed all acheivements but it doent give me a couple. its fun but there are a couple bugs, such as you being able to levitate if you press into a wall, and acheivements not popping. (i have been robbed 4 times and i havent got the acheivment yet) its a good game though, although there are a couple other issues with the acheivments, like the donut one, where to get the acheivment you dont actually have to make the donut. (update) to get acheivements you need to follow the instructions, and also if you go ahead of the first instructions, you will get softlocked out of acheivements. the worst part about this game in my opinion is the fact proggress doesnt save. anyway, fun game, would recoomend (also PLEASE GIVE ME THE GETTING ROBBED ACHEIVEMENT I NEEEEEEDDD THIS

I'm Tripping is a pretty ridiculous game, but that is also why I found it enjoyable. I wake up in space with no idea how I got there and somehow end up running a little shop for aliens. From there I am buying strange second hand stuff, growing bizarre plants, making different products and selling them to customers. The whole thing has a very silly sense of humour and it never really tries to take itself seriously. I think that works because the game is clearly built around being weird rather than trying to tell a serious story. The shop side is probably what I like most. I can look through used items, decide whether something is worth flipping for a quick profit or whether it is more useful as part of something I can make myself. That gives me a reason to actually think about what I am buying instead of just collecting everything. As I make more money I can improve the business and unlock more options, so there is a simple progression loop that keeps the shop from feeling completely static. The growing and crafting systems give me even more to mess around with. I can find seeds, grow strange alien plants and turn the things I produce into different products such as pre rolls, wax…

literally bugs and freezes every 5 minutes which makes the game super unplayable

This game is for stupid fun and for time to pass by. It's actually a pretty cool game, to think of it. The concepts are weird and unique. My only problem though...is that I can't get the achievement of getting robbed. Otherwise I have all the other achievements, but one to get a perfect game. Otherwise I recommend playing this in advance.
