Very disappointing as a fan of the original idle calibur The previous game was amazing, it left void in me that other games have yet to fill. I was so happy when I found out that the dev was making a sequel. But this game is not like the original at all and is completely different. It's kind of sad how different it is. Now for a rpg like this for 10 dollars, ehh whatever it's fine. But if you buy it thinking it's going to be a idle calibur sequel you are not going to be happy.5 found this helpful

Honestly for $11, this game is a steal. The story is pretty good, the art is awesome, and the music is so damn good! Mechanically, the game is pretty fun with plenty of options on how you want to develop your city and characters. Yes, its a 2d turn based rpg, but I find it totally worth getting.1 found this helpful
First off. I am NOT a gamer. I don't even like videogames. I don't play games for challenge nor entertainment, and since this is an Idler, I'll argue I do not play videogames at all. It took me some time to pin down what Idle Calibur is. It looks like eroge animeslop, and it is. The gameplay has a lot of early 2000s RPG Wooden Ocean vibes, and I like Wooden Ocean. But a little further into the playthrough, the association clicked: This is ero-slop Realm Of Aslona. It's My Lovely Empress with a ginormous bazongas goat girl waifu. Basically, you go questing 3x per season and build your harem while juggling some kingdom stats. This is as good a time as any to mention that the translations are only half-done, and UI comprehensibility is generally low. I don't like videogames, so I don't mind that I have no idea what my stats do or what the consequences are when I make a choice. I just click whatever seems to please my goat girl waifu. "But wait, this is a p*rn game, nobody cares about gameplay, so why tf are you talking about gameplay?" I haven't played long enough to reach any of the P*rn, so I can't really tell you anything about it. I left the idle mode on for 16h, completed …
