About Idlemon
Idlemon is an idle desktop monster tamer. Played on the side of your screen, your monster will gain experience and collect monster eggs. Upgrade your stats, purchase and collect cards, used to decorate your island.On your island the monsters will fight other creatures to gain experience, used as currency to upgrade your statistics.Eggs can drop from defeated creatures, but are quite rare. Additionally you can exchange your experience for eggs. Use them to purchase card packs to unlock new cards.There are mini-games that you can choose to play for additional experience gain. With this you can speed up the progression. (Gambling included)Play Idlemon whilst studying or working, making progress with the game running on the corner of your screen. Choose to have cozy ambience and lo-fi tunes to help focus on your task, or do all of that in silence. Suite yourself.

The game looks pretty nice, but that's about it. It has no real sense of progression, and the game focuses on cosmetics more than anything, it only does the bare minimum to be considered an idle game, which is why I can't recommend it. Gameplay: - As usual with idle games, you wait for your monster to farm you points which you can spend to improve it, so it can generate you more points. - The monsters are not interactable, you can only improve their stats. You can't speed up gains by clicking on anything. At best, the only interactable thing you can do with your cursor is move the grass on the island. - There are however, minigames which help you gain a lot more points. These minigames are pretty simple, so they get tedious to do after a while. There are also betting minigames which you almost always lose, because it is luck based, and not very rewarding when you win, so there is no point in playing them. - There are no abilities, neither passive or activatable. The monsters only have one basic attack. The game is fantastic, but I have encountered a bug that makes it unplayable. I put about 7 hours in and then suddenly the game broke. It won't show anything, and I get a clear overlay over my screen with only the setting buttons available. I can not click anything, or go through any settings, the island doesn't show anymore, nor does any of the games work. There is no sound, just the buttons that do not work. Uninstalling the game, verifying the files, and deleting everything from my memory does not fix the problem. It was fun, but if you encounter this bug it is just a waste of money. I hope this becomes fixed soon. *EDIT* The Bug has been fixed! Thank you Devs for giving me the information on how to fix the bug. I have my little guy running around again!1 found this helpful
Kinda good but stats feel useless in battle/arena.
Fun and interesting take on the island idlers, instead of raking leaves youre killing monsters!
decent but wish the upgrades felt useful in the arena mode
