Idling to Rule the Gods

Highly recommended! With over 500 hours in, I can safely say this is one of the most rewarding incremental games in my experience. I finally managed to defeat Tyrant Overlord Baal, but the game never stops surprising me. Just when i think im strong, something even more powerful appears to challenge me. What I love the most: Extremely lightweight: it consumes almost no PC resources or energy, making it perfect to leave running in the background. Great customization: the depth and personalization options are fantastic. The Village feature: im still relatively new to this mechanic and dont have enough resources to build it all yet, but i absolutely love it. It's a true marathon, but the sense of progression is unmatched. Cant forget the pets!

Cannot reasonably recommend this game when most of the dev time going towards it is just to make it worse. Most of the dev time goes towards the side content adventure/rpg mode but instead of improving the mode the dev makes baffling decisions that serve only to make the mode feel worse such as rounding enemies HP too harshly (such as rounding to the nearest million despite them only having like, 3m hp sometimes, so they will round to the nearest one third of their HP...), shortening spell names (Holy Power Strike --> Holy P. S.), and enemies resizing and shifting positions when another enemy dies, and I just cannot fathom why this needs to be changed when it was perfectly fine before when it just makes the game worse. On top of this he adds things such as an annoying feature where there is a cost to change the cores (basically just stats) in your gear but of course you can bypass that with a $10 purchase. Most updates seem to just not work with nearly everything in them being bugged on top of alot of things not being in patch notes so you'd only ever know about them if you went into discord. The only reason I cannot recommend this game is that it is an idle game, and just like I cannot in good conscience recommend heroin, I cannot recommend an idle game.
