[h1]Underwhelmingly short[/h1] Played the demo, wishlisted, bought, past-demo content didnt live up to expectations. Underbaked/underutilized mechanics, low playtime, but interesting early gameplay loop. [hr][/hr]Progression is pretty fast and very reminiscent of [b]incredicer[/b], which i [b]hate[/b] so much, but this one has a better mid-game pacing and more interactive for early game way to obtain secondary "skill currency" [i](100% is still chorish, im writing this review while waiting on skill currency to accumulate)[/i]. There's plenty of [b]milestone[/b] rewards that boost your cash, which are used to: boost cash further, buy balls and gain [b]special points[/b] [i]based on your total earnings[/i]. These special points are used in 2nd skill tree where you can buy AND refund upgrades as you please, which was the main hook demo got me on. But you wont be really changing upgrades much in mid-late game, because the strongest ones are fairly obvious, while the rest of them feel like filler. Main highlight of that tree is last tier upgrade which [spoiler]basically allows you to change weight/[b]size[/b] of any ball type, allowing you to go nuts and set every ball to max size/low…

Pretty fun and, in my opinion, worth it for the price! The skill tree gets a bit grindy and uninteresting towards the end because there aren't enough interesting new nodes there, just higher and more expensive versions of existing ones. The gameplay loop and sound design overall are good and satisfying. Can recommend!
