Increbraintal

Increbraintal is certainly an incremental of all time. I have played a great deal of incrementals over the years, and few have had such polarizing differences in quality between different parts of the game as this one has. It is quite ironic that a game based around the brain would have such thoughtless design. Lets start with the good part of the game: the graphics and sound design. Increbraintal is a very pretty game, I would say that it is firmly and significantly above average when it comes to how it looks and sounds, and it pulls off that indie short incremental pixel aesthetic flawlessly. The artstyle is very cute and pleasant on the eyes, and it goes a long way to making the game tolerable to play. The sound effects are also pretty satisfying, and the music while basic, is very appropriate for the game and is nice and relaxing. The presentation is just great all around, and the developers clearly have some talent in this area. Now moving onto the bad parts of the game, which is just about everything else. Man, I love these little incremental games, but damn does it suck that most of them don't even take 3 hours to beat, hell, not even two hours to beat. The gameplay is alright and the idea of making your own builds in an incremental game is pretty cool and refreshing. BUT there's a lot of issues that make the game a little too annoying. Like not being able to zoom out the skill tree, for example. The game just feels like a demo, but it's still fun for the whole of 1 hour that it takes to beat.

While I cannot say that this game is bad, I also can't say that it's good. You get an hour and a half of gameplay at most, wanna see the whole upgrade tree at once? Nope. Not possible. This game is IMO the very bare bones of an incremental. Honestly, it is not worth the time nor the money. There are far better games you can play in this genre

It's not great. The presentation is nice, the game works, and the UI is fine, so I'm not going to give it a negative review. I enjoy short experiences, but this one was over in under 90 minutes, and was pretty vapid. The skill tree was largely uninteresting, none of your choices really matter. Gameplay is completely hands off, too. So combining the passive gameplay with the lack of decision making there is really not a lot happening here. Which is a shame, because the graphics are charming, and the idea isn't terrible. It probably needed a couple more months in the oven.

Very short and sweet. Like one of the flash games I'd play back in the day :) But there's not much to the game, I wish there was more to the formation of the towers and all that but I get it's more of an incremental than a tower defense.

Please make a Prestige and make this game bigger this was peak
