About Infinite Shooter
Infinite Shooter is a top down arcade shooting game, also known as a "Shmup", with the emphasis squarely on the action. With no story in the way of your fun, simply choose an opponent and take them down to earn powerful weapons, upgrades, ships, and power-ups! With an infinite number of stages to play and a continually scaling difficulty the action never ends!
Infinite Shooter is a slightly different take on this most classic of genres. With procedurally generated levels players are rewarded for quick thinking and good reactions more than pattern memorization. This allows for a greater appeal to casual fans of the genre while providing great reflex training for hardcore fans.

1. Procedurally Generated: No level is the same twice
2. Lotsa Customization: 13 ships and 15 weapons
3. 10 Challenging bosses to fight
4. 10 Powerups with combinable effects
5. Unlimited action
6. Default controls similar to standard FPS controls

It's not pretty. It's not flashy. Theres no story. It's full of dumb jokes and laughable "Characters". But after an hour of play; it's got tight controls (Didn't find a way to remap, but honestly, I was too busy playing the game to really look), an easy to navigate UI, easy to understand but difficult to master AI, and the upgrade/ship system adds something I've never really experianced before in the genre. The soundtrack is pretty sweet, too, and I wish I could get it as a DLC (In Lossless format, please). In short; it's a diamond in the rough. Even at full price ($1.99 at the time of this review), it's worth the coin and I got it on sale. I've paid a lot more for a lot less. Fans of the genre; get this. It's not perfect, but it IS enjoyable.22 found this helpful
I think there are better games at similarly low prices on Steam. Infinite Shooter is underwhelming: few sound effects, little music, amateurish artwork, barebones menus. Plenty of other options that pack more of a punch than this game does.5 found this helpful
A very stupid and ugly game. But hey, aren't we all a little stupid and ugly? I remember putting on my own music and beating this whole game in a single sitting in 2016. If you have a very casual enjoyment of shoot 'em up games and you got 3 dollars burning a hole in your pocket, go for it. Really, It's been nearly 8 years and I still think "That game was kind of fun," whenever I scroll past it on Steam. 5.5/101 found this helpful
