IRIS is a low-priced horror game with strong voice acting and atmospheric storytelling that resonates with players seeking an artistic experience, though it suffers from amateur-level execution including poor controls, lack of settings options, bugs, and confusing early-game navigation that feels aimless. While some appreciate its heavy themes and visual style, others find the gameplay frustrating, lacking clarity, and technically rough for the price, with complaints about headache-inducing visuals and the overall polish of the project.
IRIS was a pretty good horror game that had great voice acting and cut scenes though a few parts of the game are definitely a challenge. Beginning of the game though could of been better as it does feel like mindless running around a forest looking for the right portal and maybe an intro cinematic would of been good but for $3.99 the game overall was pretty good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HxLst3geTlo5 found this helpful
I loved it. It's heavy, but beautiful.4 found this helpful

A thought provoking experience that I cant relate to in every way but can appreciate the art and message of. The game play is also fun and engaging, I don't know if you plan on making more games but if you do ill play them.2 found this helpful
I got pulled into buying this game from the nice retro-ish and surreal visuals, but after playing it for just a little while it became painfully obvious that this is an extremely amateur project that doesn't succeed as a game OR a deep horror experience. It wants to think it's more deep than it is, but with terrible controls, no explanations, tons of bugs within just 20 minutes of playing it's really not worth playing at all. Further, there are also no settings at all, and the visuals are honestly headache inducing.1 found this helpful
