This is a more or less third person puzzle game (although it does zoom in on puzzles from time to time) with an absolutely gorgeous art-style, creepy atmosphere and largely compelling puzzle design. However, while overall I did enjoy myself (and will recommend the game), there are some issues, largely subjective in nature. Firstly, some of the "cutscenes" are of noticeably lower quality than the rest of the game (this may be an artistic decision, or it may be a budgetary one). Secondly the music is largely mediocre (except for some of the circus style music which is deliciously creepy) and very sparse. Thirdly, the plot doesn't cohere in the slightest, at least not from my perspective, leaving far more questions than answers (always a challenge to relay a tale in visual format with no dialogue/journal entries/etc.). Finally, and this is the most subjective of all, a few of the puzzles are dramatically harder than all the others. Yes, it's totally a skill issue, but if your three dimensional spatial awareness is lacking at all, like say you have difficulty solving a Rubik's Cube, then level 5 is going to make you rage quite and/or consult a walkthrough. Came for the gorgeous Coraline-esque expressionist art style, stayed stuck for two hours trying to solve a Rubik's cube and gear puzzle that almost made me afraid of my own shadow. Highly recommend.

The puzzles in this one could get really difficult but it felt satisfying to solve! Shadow switching mechanics are very fun and I liked the circus-eque atmosphere a lot! Everything feels off and unsettling and it weirdly reminded me of Alice in Wonderland in places. Unique gem of a game!
The game looks absolutely stunning, It also features well-designed puzzles. A hidden gem among puzzle games. Overall, it’s a solid experience and definitely worth recommending.
