Jade Spring

Jade Spring is such a relaxing little game that I found myself slowing down almost immediately. Instead of giving me combat or a huge adventure, it puts me in the role of a little jade bot taking care of a garden in the Canthan part of the Guild Wars world. I really liked how peaceful the whole experience feels because there is no pressure to rush through the activities. The main gameplay revolves around cleaning, gardening and decorating. I can clear weeds, remove pests and deal with strange Dragonvoid growth while earning Karma that can be used to improve what I can do. I enjoyed these simple tasks because they give me something active to work on without turning the experience into a stressful management game. The decorating system is easily my favorite feature. I have a lot of control over where objects go, including moving, rotating and scaling them. I liked being able to arrange the garden in my own way because it makes the experience feel more like a creative sandbox than a conventional farming game. I haven't gotten much into it just yet, but from the half hour I've played, the controls felt smooth as butter. It plays like I really am in Guild Wars 2, which is the idea. The music is great and the so far, it looks like it'll be a lot of fun to just get in and decorate and to the little things needed to get karma for decorations. Highly recommended for people that decorate their homesteads and guild halls!
