About Jaxon The Thief
Jaxon The Thief is a 2D Stealth Platformer based on the story of an infamous thief called Jaxon who mostly targets the richest houses in the various cities in the US. Jaxon is an infamous thief who robbed the super rich people in the various cities. He even robbed the banks, stealing millions of dollars, expensive gems, golden rings and gold coins. The Police were desperately in search of him throughout the cities in the US but all of the efforts were in vain. But now, the special Police forces are working diligently in order to find and arrest the most wanted thief at any cost. Will Jaxon be able to rob again without getting caught?
You play as Jaxon whose mission is to rob the rich houses without getting caught by the Police and by the advanced security system too. His fate is in your hands now.

Jaxon The Thief is an ironically named "template flip", that is to say, it's a "game" that has been produced by copying a game template or using a game construction kit, and changing a few things. In this case it was a game construction kit/template for doing a simple retro platformer game. This is deplorably low quality bundle trash. No professional effort was made in terms of game development, copying a template/using a game construction kit requires no talent, and unsurprisingly produces products that have little to no value as games, especially when compared to the work of professional developers who create genuine products for gamers. It's almost as bad as an outright asset flip. This is nothing but a lazy, greedy cash grab and should be avoided.4 found this helpful
I think this might actually be the best game I've ever played. I have a friend called Jaxon and this game reminds me of him. Somehow him and the main character give off very similar vibes.2 found this helpful

Would rather watch a child drowning than play more of this game. Other review was false, it's level 9 where it becomes unbearably toxic and bad. This game promotes police brutality, shoddy security systems and endorses Joe Biden over Bernie Sanders (in essence). Honestly, I wish the aspect ratio was THINNER so there would be less of a level needed to complete. Overall, 1 spinning laser moustache or semen thing out of Ocean's 121 found this helpful
I'm not seeing the framedrop the other reviewer is experiencing but the jumping is super sensitive. Jaxon jumps like 5x a sec when I hit the space key. haha. Another problem that I'm seeing is my monitor is 16:9 but the game keeps running 4:3 full screen with black borders on the sides. There are no in-game settings that I can see to change this. Other than that, the graphics are clean, game runs very smoothly and the keyboard controls are simple and sane. It even runs natively in linux which is a plus!1 found this helpful
