Story
The game tells the story of Jeff Logar and his daughters Tahoma and Sahale. Both girls run away after heavy row with their brutish father Jeff. They got lost in the dark forests of Seattle (USA). There, Jeff will undergo a lifechanging transformation to save his daughters.

The game is a third person adventure game, where you can walk through three different levels. The level design is linear.
Mechanic
The mechanic is based on a drum or will be represented in the spirit world with the beat of the hearth. You need to hear the rhythm, and on visual feedback based you can see if you unlooked the puzzle with the drum or the hearth.
Gameplay
The drum is used to unlock the spirit world in which you will play with the soul animal of the protagonist, which is in the case of Jeff a cougar. The goal is to unlock the next level, with solving different challenges based on the mechanic.

"Jeff Logar" is a weird concept game that tries to mix rhythm/QTE mechanics with an adventure game... there's a weird trend amongst indie/amateur developers to try shove Dance Dance Revolution mechanics into every other game genre they can think of, and yet this is the first time I saw it shoved into an adventure game. The unsurprising outcome: It doesn't work. It's not fun, it detracts from an already mediocre story about a guy looking for his daughters, who ran away from him. They ran away from him because he kept trying to make them play Dance Dance Revolution even though it wasn't appropriate. The graphics in this game are really quite good, which at least makes the game look more appealing. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does a…2 found this helpful
