"Just Spin" is a mindless Unity based mobile app that's been dumped on Steam. Gameplay consists of jumping a little square with a face onto minimalist spinning wheels, to try get to the top of the level. The implementation here is completely lazy, the game even displays in mobile phone ultra thin portrait mode. My instincts tell me that this is probably a Unity asset flip, but the confusing part is that the developer has made this garbage free, whatever that's supposed to achieve. Anyway, this is just asset-flip tier mobile trash and doesn't belong on PC. I can't recommend anyone downloads this junk, even for free. Let's face it, if you wanted to play mobile apps you wouldn't be sitting at your PC reading this review, would you?

First off, the game feels more like a Unity tutorial or showcase rather than a game. Almost all free games I have seen on PC and mobile stores have more game mechanics and content than Just Spin, so the fact that this was at some point about $2 is ridiculous. However, I do appreciate that the developer decided not to add any paywalls or ads. Though the game is essentially a mediocre class project, it is free so I usually would not go out of my way to "not recommend" it in a review. However, if the only mechanic of the entire game - jumping from one spinning circle to the next- is broken, then there really is no point in this being on the Steam Store. [i]Collision bugs[/i]: Your character will often hit a surface and simply not stick to it, meaning you go inside of the circle and simply fall down. The game will even clearly indicate that a surface was reached by painting the areas that your character touched (sometimes your character will color half a circle and then just fall). Occasionally, you'll even just bump off surfaces for no reason. The funniest part is that I have also noticed my character "snapping" onto circles that they were nowhere near. Несмотря на кажущуюся простоту, в 'Just Spin' есть место для тактики. Нужно уметь предвидеть траекторию движения объектов и быстро принимать решения. Иногда игра может показаться немного сложной, но это только добавляет азарта и заставляет возвращаться к ней снова и снова. В целом, это отличная аркада, которая идеально подходит для коротких игровых сессий, чтобы скоротать время или просто отдохнуть. Рекомендую всем любителям казуальных игр, требующих ловкости рук и концентрации.
