Pioneers against aliens! JustAxe is an exciting 2D platformer with puzzles, interactive environments and unusual setting! Solve riddles, combine your moves, and set out to save your hometown and possibly all of humanity... And don’t forget to take your axe with you!
The game takes place in the distant future on planet Earth. The small town of New Soviets, hidden in the forest behind mountains, picturesque panel houses and power transmission towers, lives quietly and peacefully, trying to recreate the nearly mythical pages of history of the past.
But one day, the tranquillity of the citizens is disturbed by a mysterious invasion of creatures from another world. The hostile creatures have kidnapped the main heroine’s sister. Some time later, she receives a mysterious letter, the author of which seems to know how to resolve the situation... Grab your great-grandfather’s trophy axe and go on an adventure!
Puzzles and interaction with the environment: there’s no telling what difficulties await you behind the next tree, but the pioneer is always prepared! Use the clues and possibilities of the environment to solve riddles and overcome obstacles that stand in your way.
Varied gameplay and mechanics: find new ways to use the weapons available to you, skillfully combine your moves, create unique tactics, and gain access to unexplored areas.

It's a pretty boring action platformer, with really long level and no saving of collectable. Movement is pretty slow, often long stretch of just holding right, the platforming isn't reallt challenging, and is still slow with the ledge grab and the slow wall jump with the axe. The combat is just hit avoid hit avoid. The first level took me 40 min to complete, quitting the game and rejoining lost all the collectible so if you want to get the achievement to get all of them, you have to go through the whole boring 40 min level in one go and hope you don't miss one. Maybe you got more ability later on that makes it more enjoyable, but if the first hours isn't enjoyable, i won't try to continue it3 found this helpful

An interesting game about a girl who overcame all odds despite the obstacles (I'm that girl, a 33-year-old man).
It's a good platformer with cute graphics and great music. Perfect for spending a few evenings in it
