Kadin the Soul Eater

It's a really good game about some young adults who just graduated from High school and end up fighting some out of control local wild life. It has plot twists and turns and mutiple endings! There's also some fan art of this game floating around on the internet, so you know it's good if that happens!

I was 30 minutes into this cute game before I kept getting killed by an annoying gribbly, think the game was punishing me for my choices, picking bad dialogue options and choices in game, I then realised when I was picking the first options in game that the outcome was completely different, which I like so much. I can't wait to continue this game, even if it slightly rage when luck isn't on your side.

Good game. Love the characters, art, and story. Though quite a few gameplay mechanics aren't explained and I'm sure I've got some more endings to discover. Would benefit from a tutorial or more in-game explanations about how status effects and buffs work, or how your choices affected future events or choices. Overall, would recommend. 7/10.

Kadin The Soul Eater is quite the charming game, the story between the main character and his struggles along with his friendships he has are quite well written and extremely charming, I often find myself very much liking any interactions he has with the group. The world building is also pretty unique and very well written but you mostly have to find it yourself which makes it feel like exploration is very well rewarded instead of just usual items. The combat is a bit simple, can be challenging if you don't take into consideration the weaknesses of your party (As I can attest) or their strengths. Biggest complain I can think of is that sometimes where you need to go is sometimes not exactly clear. You're not given a marker or a mini-map to navigate, the world is small but its quite dense and packed so getting lost is very likely, especially when you need to backtrack. Overall I believe for a first time, this game is extremely well made albeit with a few understandable hiccups. I recommend this game if you want a very charming story and well liked characters and don't want an extremely complicated turn based combat system.

This is an adorable game and you can tell the game is crafted with love. The art style, characters, music, and over-all world are all wonderful. I really do like the character personalities, and the story is intriguing as well. There are also some good callouts to RPG tropes such as calling out that it’d be rude to walk into a stranger’s house. Kadin’s too good of a boy to be a house-breaking hero hooligan! My only complaint is that I wish it was a little easier. I find myself having to grind in each new place because the enemies do a surprising amount of damage. Luckily the game has an abundance of healing points to make it easier to recover and level up. I look forward to learning more about Kadin and his world.

Kadin the soul eater is my type of RPG game I like, easy to understand and quite fun. The story about Kadin and his friends are well writen and very interesting, and the characters are very cool and fleshed out. the world is also very interesting and it encourages me to explore and discover more of its lore because Im quite interested in this games story. Also the music is well done and fit Kadins world and very cool sounding. I do recomend this game its a nice RPG with a good story.
