About Kaiju

Kaiju is a collection of 2D and 3D audio visualizations ranging from calming waves to clinical spectra and psychedelic fractals.

It makes waves.

Kaiju listens to your system audio to drive its visualizations in real time.
This means music and video streaming services, games, movies and even human voices from VOIP all work to power the effects; it hears what you hear.
Alternatively, your microphone can be used to make your voice and the ambience of the room drive the system.

Kaiju does not record any audio or require special permissions. It makes use of Windows' audio APIs commonly used for noise cancellation.

Key Features

  • Real time 2D and 3D visualizations
  • Works with streaming services, VOIP, games and more...
  • Themes and modulation of effects

I enjoy utilizing this program for usage on my streams. With the low requirements for operation along side my other programs in tandem, my rig and streams run smoothly. I highly recommend this program for others to use in their streams, whether they use it as a stand-in for a png/vr model or for a musical visualization tool for just starting or brb screens. For such an affordable price, I don't see why more people have it in their libraries. My only gripe about the program is the fact that we can't make custom color themes for each of the visualizations.

Cool visualizations. Needs options to change automatically vs having to manually change the visuals.

I love this very stylish and customisable music visualisor. To make it even better I would love: - Automatic visualisor cycling, so you see more visualisors without have to manually change to a new one. - Automatic Variable randomiser, allowing the visualisor to change its look dramatically over time. I think these suggestions would make the visualisor take a life of it's own by changing without human input.

It's okay I guess. A little cluttered to be honest, too much going on and it becomes hard to to see what effect the music is actually having aside from "any sound at all makes things glow". A few more controls to thin things out or slow them down would have been helpful. I don't see myself using this very much, though it has it's moments.

I use this to workout with Spotify in my home gym, and it works as advertised. I am also much more likely to use this now that I figured out that I can change the color scheme and visual effects (hit “escape” for options). The options are great.

It's pretty cool. Some visualizers are markedly better than others, especially when it comes to customizing them. There's one so beautiful that I meditated on it for an hour in an otherwise unlit room. There's three that are the stuff of nightmares. Needs a pan back and forth for the panoramic ones, as some don't fit well in the display space. Needs a rotation speed on most of them. It beats the PS2 soundscope though.
