About Kaiju Krashers
A giant monster with a new hobby, DESTROYING EVERYTHING!
Island hopping through the Pacific to live out his destructive dream to the fullest and won't let anything get in his way.
His only caveat being the limited amount of energy he has when reaching each island. Every step he takes on land causes him to lose energy in radioactive footprints.
Thankfully for him, he can reabsorb that energy by moving back in place to where he was and can even move back repositioned in a different direction to get a straight shot at whatever's in his line of sight with his undefeatable Beam Blast.
Swim ashore to 22 challenging levels, finding the most streamlined ways of collapsing every building on each island. Navigating your way through Hard Hitting Tanks, Turn Tracing Jet Missiles, and Tazer Death Rays to destroy them all for trying to keep you from fulfilling your passion of DESTRUCTION!
UPDATE 8/18/20-
A few needed fixes were implemented.
-Start in fullscreen
-Option to toggle Fullscreen
-Volume slider reset bug Fixed
-Volume slider beam blast bug Fixed
-Randomly destroying buildings bug Fixed
If any quality of life issues occur, please let me know at .
Thank you

edit: technical issues with audio and windowed mode quickly got fixed, so I edited those parts of the review. kaiju krashers reminded me of games I played as a kid, controlling a monster, destroying buildings and entire cities. funnily enough, it doesn't look any better than those from decades ago, not necessarily a problem, but it doesn't have any widescreen support (black bars on the side). there's a single audio slider and audio on/off and windowed mode buttons while playing. no dedicated exit button, esc immediately closes the game wherever you are, which isn't very elegant. it's keyboard-only (except the settings), the goal is to destroy every building on 22 islands (one unlocked at a time) in as few moves as possible for a 3-star rating. there's an actual move limit too, if you run out, try again. move around with wasd or arrows, z or n to undo, x or m is beam blast (destroys a whole line in the direction you're facing, doesn't count as a move, can set grass on fire), r is restart. it's weird that you can (and have to) abuse undo for a better score. go up (you're facing up), go right (you're facing right), undo (you're still facing…15 found this helpful
At first glance this game seems rather cute and innocent, but it manages to utterly ruin itself with the inclusion of real-time elements while placing the player on a grid with turn-based movement. As a result the game becomes way more frustrating to complete then it's worth in my opinion.1 found this helpful
This game is cute. It's dumb and silly and little; I think there's more space in the world for things like that. There is an innocent charm to it, like something you'd play on a school computer. I barely played it, but I like it - I would definitely play it in an IT lesson while the teacher wasn't looking.
Bland, repetive frustrating. I should have refunded but I i was too late going back to it
This will be a VERY short review. The game is really kind of neat. It is like a semi update for Rampage. You have a cute lil' Kaiju that resembles Godzilla and like the SNES version of Godzilla your main objective is to smash and destroy buildings, tanks, maser tanks, nuclear reactors, and various small buildings. There are also areas you cannot step into like rocky and mountainous areas which complicate your mission. The maser tanks will shoot beams out that will not allow you to cross until the tanks are destroyed. It has a peppy game tune and the sound effects are straight 8-bit. The graphics are uncomplicated and colorful with minimal animation for the Kaiju. The Kaiju can also shoot out an atomic beam that levels anything in its path including tanks and buildings. You can refill your beam by destroying nuclear reactors which give you more steps to take. Each level has a set amount of steps and beams you can use with the map complicating your path. Overall a pretty neat little game and cheap too. It is a good time filler and one I would recommend.
