You wake up with amnesia in Kamitsubaki City, a city with a giant tower in its center.There, you meet a girl named Kafu Morisaki, and begin participating at the Kamitsubaki Academy Newspaper Club at her invitation.You will deepen your bonds with Kafu and the other club members through school life and your investigations of the city.▼Introduction"Kamitsubaki Academy Newspaper Club" is an urban investigation school adventure game where you look into Kamitsubaki City's rumors and secrets with the members of the club.The game is divided into two modes: "Story segments" where you hang out with the members at school, and "investigation segments" where you explore and investigate Kamitsubaki City.*This game shares part of its setting and lore with the "Kamitsubaki City" series.However, the story here is standalone, you can enjoy this game without Story ModeSegments where you read through the story via interactions with your fellow newspaper club members.The story begins with you waking up in Kamitsubaki City with amnesia.You then meet with the girls and go to school at Kamitsubaki Academy while searching for clues to recovering your memories.You can advance to story parts by investigating in investigation parts and acquiring items.▼Investigation ModeSegments where you explore Kamitsubaki City with the newspaper club members and look into rumors and investigation requests.You can progress with your investigations little by little by walking around the city and encountering events occuring in all sorts of locations.At these events, you make "investigation checks" based on five parameters: "Movement," "Wisdom," "Insight," "Mysticism," and "Luck."You can improve your parameters by gathering Items and Perks.▼Fellow Newspaper Club Members*Kafu Morisaki*Rime Tanioki*Haru Asanushi*Sekai Yorukawa*Koko Rinne

After getting 100% achievements, i was very, very satisfied playing this piece so i really want to share what i felt about it through this review. I hope this can shape up the decision for you whether to get, or pass on the game. However, before going into the review, there are 2 points that i would like for you to know beforehand so that you can better expect on what could you get out the game for yourself, which are: [i]1. I am a Kamitsubaki fan. Please assume that there WILL be bias in my commentary, no matter how miniscule. 2. I played the game in the Japanese language, so when it comes to certain points that involves language / alphabets, your mileage might vary while playing the game in other languages.[/i] [b]With that out of the way, let's talk about the game![/b] [h1][b]How long is the game?[/b][/h1] The game itself is a very, very short game which probably consists of 3 ~ 4 hours of reading all story available in the game, and that includes the gameplay required to unlock all the story. But to 100% the game, everyone will have a different time due to the nature of the gameplay itself. Finished the game. The game itself is not long, about 6hrs. The story is good and lovely, but only if you are a Kamitsubaki fans. The gameplay probably need more work since its basically just RNG fest. Maybe make it something like different character have different stats and attributes? Overall i like it, especially for the story, and as Kamitsubakian. (Although Sekai denied me as a Kamitsubakian)8 found this helpful
