Players highlight that this game offers an engaging story with significant lore depth for Kamitsubaki fans, featuring over 25 hours of content that explores the fictional city's world and characters through voice acting and development. However, the gameplay mechanics are criticized as simplistic, with the battle system functioning more like a catching minigame rather than true rhythm gameplay, and tedious shooting minigames that can stretch several minutes, making the experience feel more like a visual novel with limited interactive elements.
If you know about V.W.P or hearing some stories from anime and other media before, you can give this a go. If you don't, please pretend this thumb-up is extremely red. Really can't recommend it to non-fans. The battle gameplay is literally just a "catch-this" mini game and doesn't really function as how it's seemingly rhythm-like one may have thought. If anything, it feels more a novel with some interactions. Also for some reasons, there's no voiceline replay function in text backlog. The story was good, you can see the trace of V.W.P girls' development in their voice both singing and voice-acting from here comparing to the anime version (which is completely different story setting) and their more recent works than the setlist in this game. Another plus side is that you can get to see some stories from Kamitsubaki's ARG series "Emergence" ....but how? Why would it relate to Regenerate? You figure. Some parts might feel a bit too cheesy (maybe even corny) but it was alright. I played all endings in just Japanese version but there seems to be many parts with added tone of speech in English localization, especially for the protagonist. Even so, if you're curious about the general…9 found this helpful

ABSOLUTE CINEMA. SEKAI BEST GIRL
Now this one is actually pretty good. But beware: If you play this, you should follow the related Steam guide to the letter. The affection values are very fickle, and they don't change on Save/Load or moving around the chart. You have to get them right on the first try. With that said, let's begin: The plot feels quite decent for a VTuber game. There's intrigue, and metafiction. In fact, no time is wasted in the first 10 minutes informing you that you're playing as a brainwashed dude under your somewhat control. Actually, it's a bit more than that - there's you, in reality, the projection of you in the Observation Room, and the player character in the game's world who you influence. You and the player character know of each other, too, and the relationship is pretty friendly. The setting is pretty good. A Carrington Event hit Earth in 2018. After that, massive radiation from the Sun scoured the Earth of all life aside from the residents of Kamitsubaki City. What's more, the [strike]Grimm[/strike] Tesseractors seek to destroy the city, and [strike]Team RWBY[/strike] the Witchlings must rise to stop them with the power of song. Neat premise, right? There's a simple rhythm game in …
Plot is decent, not amazing, but the characters were very likable
