Game has ton of potential and I can definitely tell what the movie inspirations were between The Descent and The Borderlands/Final Prayer. But ultimately there is just no meat to the bones of this game. No bite at all. I love the tense atmosphere, but what this game is screaming for is an actual threat or at least an ending as bleak as the movies it seems to be inspired by. The ending to this game is beyond goofy. I was laughing hysterically streaming this in discord to a couple of buddies when
the painting of the ugly man popped up in the bedroom with the Insidious level audio stinger playing. It feels like I was being trolled.
2 found this helpful
An enjoyable spelunking indie-horror game. Very short, decent atmosphere and runs smoothly. The story doesn't make a lot of sense but I enjoyed the 30 minutes this game offers for a dollar.1 found this helpful
Is there ever anything good lurking in the shadows of caves? Cool bite-sized exploration. This could be a prequel to a larger game fleshing out the lore of the cave and the effects on Winston. What did he actually stumble into?1 found this helpful
A short atmospheric horror walking simulator. I had some minor bugs, but nothing game-breaking. The graphics are good. I would suggest waiting for a sale. Playtime: ~ 0.5 hours Overall: 5 out of 101 found this helpful
You'd probably want to get it on sale, it's only worth a single play through. But it's fun & atmospheric. Crazy the Neolithic Magrehbi peoples used Latinized English but gucci.
Spooky good. Short and sweet. Caves. Noises. Mystery intact.
