I am thumbs downing the game because I don't recommend it...but it is free, so you aren't losing anything by trying it. I can see a lot of very good things so far in the design and style. But there are two issues I have with the game...and they are major issues. In fact, being a precision platformer....these not hitting become a death sentence. The first is jumping. Something about the angle or the trajectory doesn't feel correct. It is like a curved dash rather than a jump....if that makes sense. The other is the tethering. I love the idea. But, like Final Fantasy VIII, somethings are better on paper than in practice. Maybe a bit of it is me, but I just can't wrap my head around the circle to show the distance of tethering. Its weird, because it should be the opposite. It should help tell me my range...but it just spends more time messing me up. It makes the jump to the tether more confusing to me. There is a third issue, but it isn't major: The sprinting is just out of control fast. But again, this could be all just me....something i can't wrap my head around. It may be different for you. And with the game free...might as well give it a go. If you enjoy it, then that is a go…

This is a game made by people who are honing their craft, and their passion shows. The mechanics are frenetic, the level design goes from brain melting to freewheeling to breakneck, and the tree guy is a huge sassy ♥♥♥♥♥. 5 Stars.

I could have easily overlooked Kaeli in the myriad of games, but am glad I didn't. The tether option makes it different than most platforms, Challenging yet fun. I like that a level can be solved more than one way, continuously adds unique challenges, puzzles and dangers throughout Lots of play time. I would definitely recommend you give it a try.

Background graphics is cool. Controls are way too time-sensitive for my liking. Margin of error is very narrow. But maybe that's the point - the game is a challenging platformer. It would've been better if there was a difficulty slider that would adjust the character's abilities (running, jumping, gripping etc).

Enjoyable experience navigating through levels and tackling puzzles. Advantages - The gameplay mechanics are robust and enjoyable. - The action of swinging on the tether and releasing it to propel oneself across the level is exhilarating. - The puzzles are captivating, requiring players to evade vines and avoid adversaries. - Lore collectibles provide an additional layer of challenge. - The game is surprisingly more soothing than anticipated. Disadvantages - The tutorial tends to be lengthy and somewhat challenging; the game becomes more engaging starting from chapter 3. - Certain levels can appear visually perplexing upon initial entry.

Challenging, interesting little platformer. I'm still early in it but I think it's going to be a lot of fun once I get the controls down.
