I didn't expect this game to have such a strange story. At first, I thought it was just a horror game about escaping a kidnapping situation, but the more I played, the more ridiculous the protagonist's arc felt. He starts off with a creepy fixation on children, and then the story suddenly expects me to believe he has become noble just because he remembers Kai's mother, who was his elementary school classmate. After realizing who she was, he suddenly decides to save her daughter, Kai. That shift felt too abrupt and wasn't convincing at all. It felt like the game expected the player's sympathy without properly developing the protagonist's character.
