About KILL CRAB
KILL CRAB is the outcome of a devoted University student team comprising five developers who worked for five months to bring the game to life. Your mission is to descend to the ocean floor and confront the colossal goldfish, The Nugget Nibbler. To get its attention, you must first fight and eliminate an army of crabs in the surrounding areas. These crabs, along with other sea creatures, will act as obstacles and enemies throughout the game.
You will navigate through three combat arenas, each with its own unique challenges and environments. As you progress and clear each arena, you will unlock a new weapon that will aid you in your battles against the crabs and other sea creatures. These weapons could include underwater firearms, explosives, or specialized gear designed to tackle underwater combat.
Once you have successfully cleared all three arenas, you will have summoned The Nugget Nibbler, the formidable boss of the game. The final battle will be a fight to the death between you and the giant goldfish. It will test your skills, reflexes, and strategy as you try to overcome the powerful boss and emerge victorious.
Throughout the game, you will experience a blend of elements from the wild west, adding a unique twist to the underwater FPS genre. The combination of underwater combat and wild west aesthetics creates an exciting and immersive gameplay experience.

✦ AI summary
Players appreciate the game's fun and charming theme, particularly enjoying the simple crab-killing gameplay and its humorous elements like cacti obstacles. However, critics note that as a student project, it feels incomplete and limited in scope, with concerns about whether such academic exercises belong on Steam as finished products rather than serving primarily as portfolio pieces.

"KILL CRAB" is one of literally thousands of student projects infesting Steam. While student projects tend to be better quality than most "amateur" made games, we must still question what value such projects have for gamers. As with all student projects, this isn't really a fully fleshed out game, it's just the result of an academic exercise, and as such it has much more limited value as a game than a professionally developed game would have. Educational institutions should not be using Steam as a dumping ground for homework assignments (especially if the students didn't even pass the course). Sure, it helps their marketing and helps the students feel good about themselves, but this is another case of a business putting themselves before the needs of gamers. The students made an "underwater shooter" as if underwater shooters are some kind of FPS genre we all nod our head knowingly about... this isn't a genre. Anyway you shoot a bunch of crabs and stuff in this bizarre wild-west-underwater mixup. Really, if this wasn't just a shallow student project and had some kind of serious content, plot and gameplay beyond survival shooting, it would be a recommendable game product.
