About Klang 2

Klang 2 is a psychedelic rhythm-action game, blindly pursuing full immersion with dance music through high-speed combat. Conduct electronic symphonies with your lightning powers, wield magical tuneblades, and achieve a euphoric state of trance through skillful play.
The player's abilities to fight and defeat enemies are divided into three categories: Strikes, dashes and holds. Strikes are the most common and will let you fast-attack the enemy with flashy fireballs. The dash makes you dodge and counter enemy attacks. The hold makes you deal enough lightning damage to shame even the greatest gods of mythology.
Klang 2s not only the ideal introduction to the Klang universe, but all things rhythm-action!
Key features:
- 30 levels of intense EDM-Action. Playable at both normal and fast speed for extra challenge.
- Semi-procedural combat system ensuring the same track never plays exactly the same.
- Several boss types gradually changing the rules of engagement.
- Music by the legendary composer bLiNd, and other talented artists such as James Landino, Arcien, Nhato, Steven Silo, City Girl, cYsmix and more!
- Techno-greek aesthetic is inspired by synthwave, musical symbolism and greek sculpture.
- Playable with numerous control inputs such as: Mouse, gamepad, drawing tablet and touch.

Klang 2 takes a bold step away from the platforming rhythm-action gameplay of its predecessor, opting for a new style that feels reminiscent of Osu! but with a unique twist. The game focuses on precise timing within a single frame, adding its own flavor that sets it apart and keeps it feeling fresh. The story this time introduces dialogue and a fascinating narrative structure that jumps between timelines, adding depth and intrigue. It’s a notable shift from Klang 1’s minimalist storytelling, and while the approach is different, it’s engaging in its own right. When it comes to the soundtrack, only about 5 or 6 tracks truly stand out as top-notch, while the rest are somewhat mediocre. The visual presentation and gameplay mechanics still deliver a satisfying experience, but I couldn’t help feeling that Klang 1’s mix of rhythm and platforming left a more lasting impression. While I liked Klang 1 slightly more, Klang 2 still carves its own path and offers a unique and enjoyable rhythm game experience. It’s worth playing for anyone looking for something different (Or similar to Osu!) in the rhythm game genre.3 found this helpful
I really like this game, one of the best rhytmic games I've played. I haven't tried the gameplay on controller but will sure do soon :)
my finger hurts
Amazing music and visuals. I really enjoyed the game as an audiophile and an achievement hunter.
Absolute banger of a game. Soundtrack hits, buttons are responsive, visuals are wonderful, game play is super easy to get into, and I mean really get into, like bob your head sway back and forth while flicking your controller to the beat into. As far as rhythm games go, this one in my opinion has a pretty mid to low difficulty overall. If you're looking to perfect through the fire and the flames like a masochist, this isn't it. What it is though, is a thoroughly enjoyable game that does everything right to engage the player and keep them entertained. Just a fun worthwhile experience every time it is booted up. If you're into rhythm games (or looking to try one out) this is it. Drop it down low. Drop it down low.
