I was absolutely loving the game — genuinely immersed, excited, and having such a good time — right up until I reached the Cat Village and met the Iron Smith. The moment I stepped inside that building, my entire screen started violently shaking even though my character wasn’t moving at all. It wasn’t a small glitch; it was sudden, chaotic, and honestly alarming. And ever since that moment, every single time I walk into any building, the screen starts jittering uncontrollably. It’s disorienting, it makes me nauseous, and it completely destroys the experience. I can’t explore, I can’t progress, I can’t enjoy anything indoors without feeling sick. It’s heartbreaking because I really want to keep playing. I’ve tried everything I can think of: switching to widescreen-only mode, updating my video drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, verifying the integrity of the files, and even starting a brand‑new save from scratch. Nothing changes. The shaking still happens indoors, every time, without fail. I’m honestly devastated because I was having such a great time, and now the game is literally unplayable for me. Fun but janky soulslike

If you're a casual player with life to live don't buy the game because at some point you'll have spent hours learning bosses or farming for stats. Dificulty will just spike and there is no progress without beating them. And also you'll have to memorize the whole game locations because map doesn't exist.

This is a fun souls-like with a difficulty option to make the game easier if you prefer a easier experience. If your into soulslikes or just looking for a fun action rpg this is a good option but note it is not without its bugs. Ive had weirdness with skins when making my characters, may have been fixed by now. There a few spots where i got stuck in things but there is a unstuck button. Also had a cutscene where the enemy was saying something in the background, but then was also speaking in the cutscene, and then for some reason my character was headless.. Was the oddest cutscene ive seen lol.

It's a tough game to judge. A lot of the times it's an okay game, but a lot of others, it shows its buggy side. I got all the achievements in the game before this review, just finished my Feral Mode run. It's far from the worst Souls-like ive played (that goes to Hellpoint), but it's not great either. Its lack of polish definitely makes the $40 price ambitious. Like many others im sure, i got this as part of a bundle from Humble Bundle Firstly, the playtime. It's a decent length game, but yet it feels like only half the game is here. From the start, youre told to visit the SIX Kristals, yet you can only meet three. In Myr, the second area, youre told to go Tandar, Kyo, Lyu, and Syko, yet only can go to Tandar after that. The final boss is decent, but doesnt seem like a FINAL boss. The game just....kinda ends. The store page has a roadmap that says more is coming, i honestly feel like this game should be in Early Access. The thing about roadmaps, they dont always get honored. Difficulty and playstyle is odd. You can deflect, parry, block and dodge. Parry is a skill you have to buy and feels awful, so bad i refunded the skill on the tree. Clearly a work in progress, but tbh what isn’t these days? We live in the Genshin era, nothing is ever ‘finished’ even when it’s been out for years. The game as it is is solid for an indie title when you take into account how ambitious the core promises are, and as aware as we are about the bugs the devs seem committed to fixing AND improving the base game. I can immediately think of a number of quality of life and production value improvements that would give the game more polish but that’s secondary to making the game work and feel better. Excited to play as other clans in the future, suggest the classes be a bit better defined and feel more significant a choice. Maybe weapon types are class-specific? Not sure what I’d suggest there. Devs are responsive on Discord and other platforms.
