Kumoon is Finnish for knocking over boxes by ricocheting your projectiles around the rooms. Mixing a shooting-gallery with billiards, platforming and puzzle-solving.
Welcome to Kumoon.
Besides taking potshots at boxes, there's a fair smattering of platforming and wall-climbing. An aggressive default movement speed enables you to make leaps over large gaps. So for those with sturdy VR legs, you can play as wildly as you wish. More sensitive players are given a half speed option to take things a bit slower, and using the analog sticks gently allow you to go as slow as you like.
There are some surprise drops, deep pits, that sort of thing to get a feeling of vertigo.
The levels are all unlocked by default, so players with low tolerance for freedom of movement can pick and choose which levels to play.
Specs
3 Tutorial Levels to get you inside the head of the robot.
15 Easy Levels, to get you acquainted and to have fun with even those holding a gamepad for their first time.
15 Medium Levels, for those comfortable with the controls and willing to forge further.
15 Hard Levels, for aspiring speedrunners, aficionados of intrigue, and those who think pain is the definition of fun.

So I played the original Kumoon around 2005, the same year it released. I have been trying to find it again for 20 years. Along the way of finally finding it, I discovered this iteration, which seems to be a continuation/successor of the original game. Here's how I think it stacks up to the original after a wee bit of playtime. In the 2005 version of Kumoon, you played as a chick - the animal - with a revolver, a shotgun, and a bazooka. Levels featured a pretty sterile aesthetic, containing a series of red boxes that turn white if disturbed by bullets, other white boxes, or you. Disturbing a box granted you some points, but using your weapons deducted points and could bring your score into the negatives - as did disturbing the red boxes with your own body - so the trick was to ricochet your shots off of walls and other boxes in order to bring down more of them at a time. These ricochets would also grant you extra points to further offset the score reduction from shooting. It's a pretty decent free game, and I had a lot of fun giving it another go in 2026. In this 2015 version of Kumoon, nearly every aspect I mentioned has been reworked. You are now a robot with what I think is on…1 found this helpful
I really like original Kumoon, but this is just amazingly poorly made. VR is even worse. Would not recommend to anyone to even try this.1 found this helpful
https://youtu.be/q3_mK-azkDQ Physics based puzzles are always a mixed bag at best, but in this case it's a inaccurate frustration.
.
Do you like puzzles? I like puzzles! This is a really unique twist on the puzzle genre and this game still has me stumped on the levels, Really good game and it takes a big brain to beat!
A little thought before programming the controls of this game would have made it playable.
