Kungfu2 is a compact roguelite action experience developed and published by amk800 that embraces the philosophy of delivering intense martial arts combat in short, highly replayable sessions. Rather than focusing on a lengthy campaign or elaborate narrative, the game centers its appeal on rapid progression, randomized upgrades, and the thrill of transforming a novice fighter into a nearly unstoppable martial arts master. Its design is clearly aimed at players who enjoy quick bursts of action while still experiencing the satisfying growth and experimentation commonly found in larger roguelite titles. The core gameplay loop is built around ascending a series of thirty increasingly difficult floors. Each stage lasts only a brief period, creating a constant sense of urgency and preventing the action from slowing down. This structure keeps players engaged from beginning to end, as every decision carries weight and every upgrade has the potential to dramatically alter the course of a run. By limiting the duration of each floor, the game successfully avoids repetition and maintains a brisk pace that encourages repeated attempts. Simple survivors game that scratches an itch for a few rounds, after which the low amount of content and price become apparent. First, you begin by selecting one of five characters, each with different stats and a couple of weapons to choose from, also with varying stats. Then, you move to the stage select screen, where your only option is to play the first unlocked stage. The other five stages unlock in order as you complete them. What’s interesting is that you can customize the challenge with several sliders, including attack speed, damage reduction, and more. The area is tiny, so there’s not much room to maneuver, but your attacks are fast enough that you won’t have trouble surviving the first few waves. Killing enemies fills your experience bar, leading to a level-up, but I’m not sure what that increases. Surviving a wave opens a shop where you can spend coins, also earned from kills, on four random perks. If you’re not happy with the selection, you can pay for a reroll…
