Kung Fu Strike is the kind of game that will humble you repeatedly before it lets you feel like a master — and somehow that's exactly what makes it worthwhile. The combat system is deeper than it first appears, with a satisfying combo toolkit that rewards patience and deliberate play over button mashing, and the animations are genuinely impressive for a game at this price point. The difficulty is absolutely brutal, especially in later levels where enemies gang up and the camera decides to have a crisis in the corner of the arena, so if you're the type who rage-quits, this will eat you alive. But if you can push through the frustration of getting demolished by the Swordsman for the 40th time, the moment it finally clicks — when you read his attacks, counter cleanly, and dismantle him — is legitimately one of the most satisfying feelings in the genre. Grab it on sale (it frequently drops to a couple bucks), ideally with a friend for local co-op, and go in knowing the difficulty is the point.

Tedious combat and battles that feel really cheap.

It's an alright beat'em up... Old but decent. 7/10
