We began developing Last Dream to be the central element of our decades-running annual RPG Tournament among fellow physics graduates. We started with the sole desire to craft an enduring game that we would personally enjoy. We continue to develop Last Dream II to combine the best aspects of the classic and modern games that we love so much.
Fishing has always been a big part of the Last Dream RPG series, which is even more true for Last Dream 2 – each fish you catch will directly benefit your journey. The Last Dream Fishing Arcade uses many of the same mechanics and is centered entirely around exploring the oceans of Gaia as you master every tournament and tame every creature. The characters and mechanics in the Last Dream Fishing Arcade comprise a vibrant, exciting microcosm that is part of the upcoming Last Dream 2 universe yet also wholly capable of standing on its own two (sea) legs.

I've been struggling to write a review for Last Dream Fishing arcade, but what I'm trying to get at is that they call it a Fishing RPG and they really mean it. It's not just because it's got stats and equipment and abilities and characters, it's that the game actually lets you use all of these tools together strategically to push the boundaries of what your stats say you should be able to catch. It really feels like fighting an enemy who's level is higher than me in an RPG. I think that's very neat. The core loop is simple, yes. Upgrade base stats to catch bigger fish to upgrade base stats to catch bigger fish. But when I'm fighting a big fish and cash in my stored up Overdrive to use buff and debuff skills, synergizing with the items I have equipped and the potions I drank and the character I picked's unique ability. Carefully reeling in the fish over the course of a full minute lest I hold a button a bit too long and snap the line, and finally catch the fish and it's worth 10x what any other fish I've ever caught has been worth. Yeah I like Last Dream Fishing Arcade! I think I'll play it again soon.5 found this helpful
Contender for best fishing game on Steam. This is fun arcade fishing. Upgrade your gear. Collect treasure chests and messages in a bottle. I must warn you. Very challenging. I thought I put about 20 minutes into it. I put almost an hour and a half. This game may become addicting.
After receiving a copy from the developer, I played this game for a few hours AND IT WAS AMAZING! the concept is so good, the simplicity of it yet the ability to fish and relax was so good. I recommend every try it and have a beautiful fishing adventure.
