About Last Shift: Gas Station

WELCOME TO THE NEW NORMAL

You woke up knowing only one thing: today is your shift at the gas station. The pay is excellent. The job is simple. The anomalies... they are part of the daily routine. You know they are there, you know how to deal with them, and somehow, it feels normal. But "normal" has an expiration date.

MANAGE THE CHAOS. SURVIVE THE SHIFT.

From 00:00 to 05:00, your job is to keep the station running. But between one delivery and the next, you’re not just cleaning the counter. You’re containing the impossible.
  • 10 Unique Entities: Each has its own origin, behavior, and triggers. Learn what to avoid, learn how to repel... or face the outcome.
  • Death Sentence: No generic deaths. Each entity has a unique death animation, detailing your failure to maintain the new normal.
  • Anomalous Routine: Manage fuel and the shop while dealing with events that defy logic.

WHAT HIDES BENEATH YOUR FEET?

The gas station is just the surface. There’s something buried, something pulsing beneath the fuel pumps. You have 5 days to fulfill your contract. 5 nights to manage the strange, avoid the fatal, and finally descend to where the truth is hidden.
  • 3 Distinct Endings: Your daily actions and your curiosity about what’s under the station will determine how this story ends.
  • PSX Lo-Fi Aesthetic: A dense, grimy atmosphere that makes "normal" even more disturbing.

TLDR: The game is a little rough around the edges, but that does not stop it from making it a fun and frenetic experience. Fun playthrough overall. Extra points for the relatable goth babe you fall in love with immediately, usually found in gas stations. First of all, I have to say that I am not familiar with these kinds of "horror management" games. Still, I enjoyed this one a lot, even when sometimes it felt the difficulty spikes were just throwing random ♥♥♥♥ at you. I'm always down for some crunchy indie horror aesthetic, and this did not disappoint. The narrative serves the setting, and the creatures you encounter are effective on its design, a pure B-movie horror style that ranges from jumpscare monsters to outright funny encounters. Bonus point for the all-timer "Calaca Chingona". The 5 nights have all laid out a series of events you have to react to, no randomness. So either you ace it first try, reacting to everything it throws at you on the go, or most likely you die and start laying out a plan. Frustrating at first, but seeing your plan come to fruition is rewarding as ♥♥♥♥. Sometimes the creatures' design requirements clash, setting you up for failure that is hard …

I ended up having a lot of fun with this one. The story mode was great and unexpected. The endless mode is more fun than I thought it would be and a nice little challenge. Love the entity variety as well. Would recommend to anyone who loves the nostalgic PSX horror games like I do. I think it's worth checking out.

great game, pretty textures and fun wiggly shapes, beautiful landscapes and the design of everything, really hearty and eye pleasing, nice mechanics, the story and plot are very good, reminds of cia, it was interesting to play, MUSIC fits really well and adds 10000 points to the whole vibe of the game, super well-done fr . it was also kinda cheap for a game like this! moreover it's well-optimized, my laptop is weak but it was flying non-stop, thank you, kind person

A game i wasn't expected to like ,Nice story twist , NIce mix of entities , i wished it was more challenging days in the shift like make the stinky and the cultists apear at one and make no stock of the shelfs to make the player go fast bring the new stock , like mix the entities at ones in the story it would be cool , and if u can make some jumpscares in the bathrooms like make the stinky apear from there and jumpscare the player , just a small recomandations , i want to continue but i don't make this more longer , Love ur game and wish u luck for more games in the future <3 .

For a game with such an interesting premise I found its urgency to finish disappointing - 4 nights are really not enough to fullfil its potential. There was also a lack of incentive beyond simple survival. Understandable in context, but some deeper element of store management or entity research would have made the experience more engaging and meaningful. Regardless, it's a good time as a short supernatural adventure.
