This is a short retro-styled horror game, with an interesting story that happens inside a school. And this game is very scary and tense! It's been a while since a game made me this scared. The monster isn't even that scary, but the tension and the environments achieve that. I like how the looping hallway is where the monster roams, while every other room is safe. When you want to exit any room to go to another, you'll have to use the hallway, and look out and listen for clues to where the monster is. Like I said, the visuals are retro-styled, and it looks great, to be fair. But the gameplay is also retro-styled, and not entirely in a good way. The fixed camera angles and tank controls were okay, I got used to them. But the very few checkpoints and life systems are very outdated and annoying. Sure they made it more tense to not want to die in the game, but it can be very frustrating, specially since you have to finish the game in one sitting. The game can be completed quickly, but that's if you know what you're doing, and do it perfectly. It's a bit confusing to know which steps to take without a guide. A lot of the achievements are also very annoying to get, but at least the game…3 found this helpful
If you grew up enjoying classic survival horror games and more specifically Silent Hill you'll love this game! The atmosphere as well as the visuals capture that PS1 style that gives everything that gritty/nostalgic look. The puzzles are simple, but fun (I always enjoy games that want you to pull out a note pad to write down passwords and passcodes!) which makes the pacing of the game consistent. Also it has loads of unlockables which includes costumes ( I love the fact you can look like a certain SH3 character ;P ) and a harder difficulty option which adds replayability. For $5.99 you absolutely can't go wrong!1 found this helpful

Small, concise horror experience with more unlockables than most AAA horror nowadays. It is charming and everything it needs to be. Now make a longer one with 9 lives.
monster stopped giving any warning that its near and didn't leave the doorways i was behind so i kept dying until i ran out of lives :/ other then that camera angles make it way to hard to tell where the monster is.
