+++ easy 100 % Steam Achievements (need to play Beta for Level Editor Achievement) ++ nice 2 D Plattformer Puzzle Idea with Black & White (--- No 5 Trading Cards) Good for Achievement Hunters & Indie Puzzle Fans69 found this helpful
Game is incredibly buggy, bland, and an extremely boring puzzle platformer. PLEASE do NOT purchase this, unless you want to deal with a slue of bugs. Alongside this, all steam achievements are broken! Thankfully this was not even $1. I would recommend the other game by the same developer, Hexa, if you're into cheap indie puzzles.2 found this helpful
Just a bad free low effort mobile game that has a lot of bugs.2 found this helpful
Developed and published by Salus Games, Layers is an inventive puzzle platformer that demonstrates how a single well-executed mechanic can become the foundation of an engaging and memorable experience. Instead of emphasizing action or elaborate storytelling, the game places its focus on logic, observation, and careful planning. At its heart is the concept of two parallel dimensions, known as the White Layer and the Black Layer, where players must manipulate the environment by transferring objects between both worlds. This straightforward premise quickly evolves into a series of increasingly challenging puzzles that demand creativity and strategic thinking rather than quick reflexes. The game's dual-layer mechanic is its greatest strength, transforming every stage into an exercise in spatial awareness. Objects that appear insignificant in one layer may become essential in the other, forcing players to evaluate every move before committing to a solution. Success depends on understanding how both dimensions interact, as changes made in one world can dramatically alter the possibilities in the other. This system consistently encourages experimentation and rewards players with satisfyi…
It is buggy as hell, I couldn't even get thru level 3 (time slowed down kinda and I could jump higher, I even managed to get all 3 balls to 1 door but the level didn't complete) but if you can get thru the bugs the puzzle seems interesting, idk maybe im just bad at this one but i thinks level 2 was hard but cool, not 3 tho and i couldn't see the rest Edit: I finished the game and lmaaooo it's much worse than I thought, if you press tab as you go in the exit door, next ball disappears as "completed" and you keep controling the one in the doorand go the other way to complete that one, so if you only have 1 ball in an exit you can finish a level. Also the other level weren't as good, maybe i overthought level 2 and came up with an unintended solution cuz it seemed interesting but well. Conclusion: Wasn't worth the time or money but I enjoyed it
alright. i guess this is something i havent seen before.
